Welcome to the Motor City Chapter of the ISSA – the worldwide voice of information security for over 25 years.

I am honored to be your new President for 2011 and I look forward to a year of collaboration and innovation that will help pave the way for future security professionals.

There have been exponential technological strides made in recent years with cloud computing, virtualization, and other advances. It is often difficult for security professionals to keep up with these ever-changing developments. My goal as President is to help you, the members, by providing quality information that you can use to gain employment, advance in your career, or simply help you in your current position. If you have any recommendations for improvements to the chapter, please e-mail me directly at president@issa-motorcity.org. I am eager to discuss any ideas with you.

My focus this year will be to work with the Board to increase our Corporate sponsorships. Funds that we receive will help us to reach out to you, a valued member, and provide exciting events throughout the year.
