Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst who will apply technical expertise in one or more IT disciplines that support the security of the organization’s electronic systems and data.
Responsibilities:
This Senior Analyst will:
• Serve as Local HIPAA Security officer for our client.
•Coordinate the HIPAA assessment and compliance assessment efforts with application owners as required. Oversee IT general controls audits and processes.
•Maintain and update the IT disaster recovery plans and work with application owners as required to develop and update business continuity plans
•Maintain technical expertise and retooling on emerging technologies.
•Provide technical expertise regarding security practices
•Develop and revise security policies and procedures
•Provide forensic analysis in response to Information Security incidents
•Perform, analyze and advise regarding security audits and generate web usage reports
•Understands customer requirements and their impact on the technical direction of a solution. Builds
and maintains strong working knowledge of the business area and the applications that support the
client.
•Analyzes a chain of events and apply technical knowledge following established procedures.
Participates in design, contributing technical insights and ideas.
•Helps formulate project scope and objectives.
•Work effectively on a continuing basis with customers to understand and explain business and
technical issues, explain new technologies, presents deliverables, and solution options.
•Performs other duties that may be assigned by Leadership

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
•Minimum of 4yrs experience working in the Healthcare Information Technology environment
•Advanced understanding of security concepts, including related formalized training
•Knowledge of HIPAA Security Compliance requirements
•Experience with independently troubleshooting most technical security problems
•Analytically inclined with attention to detail and accuracy
•Strong organizational skills
•Good interpersonal and communication skills
•Ability to work under pressure and prioritize work
•Excellent time management skills
•Integrity and high personal, professional and ethical standards, including the maintaining of confidential data
•Ability to fulfill the requirements of On Call rotations
•Ability to accommodate the local travel between supported ministry locations
•Additional Preferred Qualifications:
•Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or field related to this position
•CISSP certification
•Other IT Certifications; Security +, SANS, or Microsoft
