Frances Rivoire and Keith Knostman

Protecting data at rest is essential to maintain the confidentiality of the information for most businesses. This presentation will detail two methods that are available to combat this ever-growing concern - software- and hardware-based encryption. We will take a deeper dive into how hardware-based encryption is increasingly becoming the preferred approach - how it evolved, how it works, and its "baked-in" security features.
