STG is looking for an IT Security Operations Administrator to work onsite at their client location in Farmington Hills. The role of this Security Operations Admin is to: Administer security technologies as a member of the IT Security Operations team; Manage secure web gateway (proxy) services using Blue Coat ProxySG technology; Administer Symantec BrightMail Email environment including SPAM filtering, compliance policies and email security; Manage PGP Universal encryption infrastructure supporting Web Messenger, Whole Disk Encryption and NetShare; Support domain management and the internal Certificate Authority infrastructure using Active Directory Certificate Services; Administer Symantec Endpoint Protection providing Ant-Virus services for clients and servers; Oversee firewall, intrusion prevention and remote access operations; Support managed file transfer solution using Axway (Tumbleweed) SecureTransport technology; Analyze and remediate security threats and assist with incident investigations; and Provide on-call support for Information Security technologies.

Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred
Strong oral and written communications skills
Strong potential for growth and acceptance of additional responsibilities
Ability to take a broad view of his/her position and take initiative to communicate, interact and cooperate with others
Demonstrated ability to write report segments and to participate in presentations
Ability to work as a member of a team and independently
Required Skills:

5+ years experience deploying infrastructure technologies such as servers, networks, email systems, web proxies, encryption/PKI and file transfer solutions
2+ years experience administrating security technologies
In-depth knowledge of Information Security concepts like access controls, network security, cryptography and operations security
Experienced in conducting network and operating system risk and vulnerability assessments
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Linux scripting
