Position Description: The position of eDiscovery Analyst includes support of internal requests from the Office of General Council (OGC) for preservation, collection, processing of digital data in support of litigation matters. Digital data requests include both structured and unstructured data sources globally. The position demands continuous learning with a commitment to understand emerging obligations and standards relative to electronic discovery and recommending practical mitigations that support the goals of the business. In-particular Local, Federal and Global data privacy matters that may impact service delivery. eDiscovery response activities also include interacting with inside and outside legal counsel to convey findings. The ability to understand and communicate complex IT data to non-technical personnel is a core capability of all team members. Duties may require testimony or depositions in support of company litigation. The duties could involve limited travel, particularly within the South East Michigan area, and maintaining a flexible work schedule is a key consideration. ¿Formal response efforts that ensure consistent responses to all service requests oeDiscovery requests for unstructured/structured data; hard drive, email, database, etc.
-Perform consistent and repeatable methods flexible enough to develop resolution to any type of incident
-Support mutual working relationships between the regional teams to leverage available analysts globally (e.g. One Team with One Goal)
-Ensure compliance obligations are met -Support the process for handling eDiscovery service requests
-Ensure incorporation of internal and external information around best practices
-Provide technical SME support to assist Security Consulting with advising customers
Skills Required: -Thorough knowledge of computer forensics as a discipline
-Thorough knowledge of servers, clients, Exchange, hard drive and file encryption, various computer peripherals, network and/or storage technologies Demonstrated oral and written communications skills across various mediums, management and experience levels Disciplined approach utilized when completing work and adhering to procedure
Skills: Familiar with Computing Infrastructure and application development life cycle (SDM) Strong interest in Security & Controls, specifically the areas of electronic discovery, data privacy, compliance

-years experience in electronic discovery related activities from an IT perspective
-1-2 years experience in infrastructure development/operations
Education: Bachelor degree in computer or business related field Education Preferred: One or more credentials in the area of incident response or digital forensics, e.g. CISSP, CIPP, EnCE, GCFA
