Phillip is a past President of the Motor City Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), and has held other leadership positions including Vice President, Treasurer, Advisor to the Board, and Director of Education. Phillip is also a founding member of the Motor City Chapter of ISSA and is currently on the Board of Directors for ISSA North Oakland County. Working for Hewlett Packard, Phil has been active in several roles including technical lead, engineering team member, and project management on multiple global security projects for fortune 100 companies. Prior to joining HP, Phil was employed with EDS, and Mazda System Services as a Security Engineer, and the National Bank of Detroit as a Compliance Analyst. Phillip is also a 25 year member of the United States Army / Army Reserve where he is currently serving a tour of duty with the Army as the Director of Information Technology for Garrison Command US Forces Kandahar Airfield, Kandahar Province Afghanistan. Phil holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Cleary University in Ann Arbor.
