Again, all positions are direct and pay is pretty good ranging from $90K to $98K.
Independently performs higher-level complex analytical tasks associated with IT infrastructure design and
deployment and/or business application development. Is capable of working independently. The work
is varied and somewhat difficult in character and may require a very high level of expertise. Tasks may
include:
-Tasks associated with the identification, deployment, and support of infrastructure technologies to
support the company's business requirements
-Coordinates with users to determine requirements, analyze business problems, identify technology
options, and define detailed specifications of technology solutions
-Performs prototyping, design, configuration, development, testing, debugging, documentation and
implementation of complex, cost-effective software applications
-Provides technical leadership on complex projects, including designing application architecture, creating
procedures, supporting client training, data conversion and deployment activities, and directing and
checking the work of others
-Applies analytical skills to research, study, design, implement, and support complex, medium to large
sized projects
- Assignments typically have high-level objectives and require a fair degree of originality and ingenuity
to complete. This level functions primarily as a team member, but also may lead a limited numbers of
employees. Is often the journey level position in the department. Examples of knowledge areas include:
-Server administration, network, software distribution, and data base technologies, capacity and
performance techniques, voice and wireless technologies, internet infrastructure, disaster recovery, and
security
-Full technical knowledge of the systems development life cycle

Department Specific
Working in the Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Department, in the Information Technology Security
Section, the IT Security Analyst will be responsible for managing information risk at the enterprise
level. With increased accessibility and reliance on technology, security risks and challenges will require
operating as part of a team responsible for working with wide range of personnel to achieve efficient and
effective security processes and programs.
The IT Security Analyst will work in a team to assess and resolve security issues by making timely
decisions in a complex enterprise environment. The IT Security Analyst will develop and implement
enterprise security strategies to meet regulatory requirements, and provide technical expertise. Present
information security training to a wide audience on protecting the integrity, confidentiality and availability
of information assets owned by the company.

Experience/Education/Training/Other
Requires a bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related field, and typically has 7 or more
years applicable exempt working experience with at least 2 at a senior analyst level or equivalent. May
consider other Bachelor's degrees, or Associates Degree in related technical field with equivalent work
experience in the Information Security field.

At the most senior level, this position performs the most complex analytical tasks associated with IT
Infrastructure design and deployment. Tasks are performed at an independent manner with some
direction as to the general results expected. This level possesses and applies an in-depth knowledge
of principles, practices, and procedures within an IT infrastructure setting, and often handles multiple
assignments concurrently.

Department Specific
This position will provide design, configuration, testing, implementation and management of Firewalls,
VPN Concentrators, Proxy Servers, Load Balancers, Log Correlation Appliances, FTP Servers, Intrusion
Prevention Appliances, and Network Admission Control Systems. Responsibilities include Internet
Application support and diagnostics, Network consulting, intrusion investigation, and 3rd level client
support. Must be security conscious, customer and results oriented, self motivated, and have excellent
problem solving and decision making skills. This opportunity requires good communication analytical,
planning and organization skills.

Additional Information
Certifications (Nice to have): CISSP, CCNA. Posting band SG13-17.
Position will be filled at a title based on the skills, knowledge, certifications, and experience of the
selected candidate.

Department Specific
This position is part of a team that provides IT Security support overall company needs. Activities include
research and development of cyber security technologies, planning, implementing, briefing, managing,
and monitoring cyber security systems.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate practical, hands-on experience in at least three of the following
five technologies: Network/Host Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS/HIDS), security log monitoring,
Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system, vulnerability assessment system, and an
enterprise anti-virus solution.
The ideal candidate will have experience with federal regulatory compliance standards, such as NERC
CIP, SoX, PCI, etc. and a solid background in hands-on cyber security event analysis and Cyber Incident
Response.
The ideal candidate must have three (3) to five (5) years of hands-on experience as a cyber security
professional and possess either a bachelors degree in a technical field or possess one or more security
certifications such as a CISSP or equivalent.
Other relevant cyber security technical certifications may be considered.

The candidate must be a team player able to work in an environment with multiple tasks and changing
priorities.
The candidate must also have excellent written and oral communications skills, including presentation
skills.

Fitness for Duty - FMCSA (Regulated)
Preference will be given to candidates with Cyber Incident Response and cyber forensics experience.
This position will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidates experience and
education (SG 14-16).
This position will required additional screening under the NERC PRA requirements.
