Information Systems Security Engineer - Livonia, MI

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working on projects which improve the security of current systems
and applications

- Providing security guidance in the design, development, and
application of solutions implemented by the Information Systems Team

- Performing network and application security assessments

- Performing various security audits

- Performing various security monitoring

- Performing information security risk assessments

- Conducting technical investigations

Knowledge/Skill/ Ability Requirements:
- Has a passion for Information Security

- Is trust-worthy

- Has a high sense of urgency

- Has good communication, organization, interpersonal, and writing
skills

- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures
relating to Information Security

- Has at least three years full time IT experience

- Has at least one year full time Information Security experience

- Experience conducting network and/or application vulnerability
assessments

- Experience with using Information Security tools

Additional Experience/Certifications a plus:
- CISSP and other security certifications

- Familiarity with the mortgage industry

- Experience conducting Information Security risk assessments

- Experience in computer forensics and technical investigations

- Familiarity with laws and regulations pertaining to safeguarding
customer information

- Experience with security aspects in areas of networking, operating
systems, databases, web servers, and application development
