The Security Assurance Services practice has developed its security solutions to assist organizations for compliance needs. They offer services to build the necessary effective internal control policies to protect from the very real threats of Network Security Assessments (including penetration studies), Business Continuity Planning, Application Security Assessment and Assurance Services. The practice is expanding for IT Sarbanes-Oxley Business Continuity planning.

Security / IT Audit Consultant Job Description:

• Conduct regulatory compliance assessments of Sarbanes Oxley and Business Continuity
• IT Network security assessments
• Communications and Networking
• Marketing client services to current and prospective clients
• 40% to 60% overnight regional travel, mostly to Michigan and Ohio and Indiana

Required Qualifications:

• Two to three years of experience in information security and auditing
• Minimum of two years of auditing and IT internal controls experience in the area of continuity planning.
• Disaster Recovery Planning
• Knowledge of security audit tools
• Prior security assurance experience or experience with a security consulting firm
• Proven client service skills and strong problem solving skills
• Bachelors degree required
• CISA, CISSP or CPA preferred.
• CISM, MCSE, CCNA or CCDA Certifications a plus
• Superior problem solving ability
• Self starter with high energy
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Project Management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
