The m ain focus of this position is analysis and design of systems that are compliant with security policies and standards. This person will posses strong customer management skills and the ability to work with many people in each department to find solutions. We currently have openings for a Security Architect to work at a large financial client located in the Metro-Detroit area.

 

 

Minimum Education:

• Bachelors Degree

 

Minimum Experience:

• 5+ yrs overall IT Security experience
• Proficiency in host based security on UNIX is required. 
• Experience in technical investigations, incident response and forensics
• Vulnerability Assessments: Databases
• Vulnerability Assessments: Servers
• A firm understanding of networking as well as host systems
• System Administration experience, strong troubleshooting skills
• Technology investigation experience; member of an incident response team, experience performing computer forensics
• Incident Response (Investigation, CIRT, VIRT, Forensics, etc...)networking technology experience
• Network Penetration Testing
• Ethical Hacking

 

Assignment Details:

The Security Architect will participate in analysis and design of systems that are compliant with security policies and standards.  The analysis will include reviewing network diagrams and traffice patterns internally as well as externally.  A firm understanding of networking as well as host systems is necessary.  The position will be responsible for developing technical security standards.

Other duties include:

• Performing vulnerability assessments and recommending system changes with system administrators and business owners
• Participating in research and strategic development of new trends and technologies
• Involvement in security related investigations
• Participating in project meetings
• Acting as an overall technical security resource for Comerica
