To help continue this rapid growth, Accuvant is seeking an application security specialist that will help spearhead and coordinate marketing efforts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Professional Qualifications

•      Exhibits a professional and positive attitude

•      Strong Project Management and Time management skills

 

Technical Qualifications

•      Knowledge to perform application penetration assessment, threat models, security code reviews, network penetration tests, host reviews and integrate security testing methodologies within corporate SDLC practices

•      Deep understanding of software architectures including .NET / J2EE and supporting technologies with a focus on the security implications and how to mitigate the potential vulnerabilities imposed by insecure application development. Good coding skills in C/C++ or .NET or Java / UML preferred  

•      Experience with application security testing tools such as WebInspect, WebScarab, Paros and Nikto

•      Knowledge of database environments like Oracle, MS SQL and DB2, a plus

•      Two + years of related experience and at least one of the professional certification like MSCD, CISSP or CISM preferred

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree minimum
