By day- Steve works at Symantec Corporation,
where he has held several positions
over the past 6 years ranging
from Manager of Intrusion Protection
Systems (North America) to his current
assignment as the Sr. VAR Channel
Manager in the Great Lakes Region.
Prior to coming to Symantec Steve
served as Regional Vice President at
Computer Associates International and
as VP of Sales for Citadel Technology,
Inc. (now McAfee).
Steve holds an NSA Center of Academic
Excellence MBA – Information
Assurance from Walsh College and
Bachelor of Science Degree in Business
Administration from Colorado Technical
University.

Wallace is a Chief
Technologist and Security Executive for
General Motors Corporation. He More
then 17 years experience in leveraging
Information Technology to meet business
requirements. Steve has extensive experience
implementing and designing
global security architectures for fortune
100 companies. ITIL Certified.
Wallace holds a Master of Science in
Business Information Technology.

Mary

Mary Rowley, CISSP
Secretary
Mary is an Information Security
Risk Analyst for Comerica Bank. She
performs risk assessments on various applications
within the Corporation by offering
creative ways in which to increase security
while enabling clients to accomplish their
business objectives.
Mary previously held the position of Information
Security Analyst at Henry Ford
Health System for almost ten years where
she managed corporate-wide security for
a user base of over 8,000, championed an
effective security awareness program, and
was a contributing member of the organization’s
Information Security Committee.
Mary graduated from Walsh College in
2004 where she earned a Master of Science
in Business Information Technology
degree with a specialization in Information
Assurance. She has been a member of CSI
for over ten years and is a current member
of Infragard and ISACA. Having successfully
passed the CISA exam in December,
2006, Mary is in the process of finalizing her
CISA certification.

Phillip E. Hain, CISSP

Phillip Hain
Treasurer
Phillip is a past President of
the Motor City Chapter of the Information
Systems Security Association (ISSA), and
has held other leadership positions including
Vice President, Advisor to the Board,
and Director of Education. Phillip is also a
founding member of the Motor City Chapter
of ISSA.
Working for EDS, Phil has been active in
several roles including technical lead, engineering
team member, and project
management on multiple global security
projects for fortune 100 companies. Prior
to joining EDS, Phil was employed with
Mazda System Services as a Security Engineer
and the National Bank of Detroit as a
Compliance Analyst.
Phillip is also a 23 year member of the
United States Army / Army Reserve where
he is currently in transition from a Senior Drill
Sergeant in the Infantry to an Information
Systems Technician Warrant Officer in the
Signal Corp. Phil holds a Bachelor of Arts
Degree in Business Administration from
Cleary University in Ann Arbor.
